Germany, WW II GENERAL ASSAULTS BADGE #50 With the number of engagements "50". Fine version with well preserved gilding and a light-gray patinaed application mounted with four rivets. Gold-plated waisted iron pin on the reverse side. Condition is XF. Detlev Niemann in "Price Guide. Orders and decorations Germany" 2004, page 610 put 1400 EUR ($1680) for that nice badge. |

Germany, WW II Luftwaffe Flyer's Commemorative Badge 100% ORIGINAL WW-2 ERA!! This marked example nickel silver metal with swastika showing only light age/wear to the highlights, with 100% of the factory frosting remaining in recesses. Central eagle sitting on a boulder retains virtually 100% of the factory darkened finish and is the pattern without cut-out areas around the legs and tail. Reverse badge retains virtually 100% of the factory silver frosting with only minor age patina on the edge of the eagle and is complete with barrel-hinged, needle-style pin. Excellent details.
