Miniature KS/98 Bayonet w/Advertising Logo
This well detailed example, measuring 9 3/8" in
overall length was recently obtained from a long established Virginia
collection. The item shows light surface wear. Plated blade measuring 5 " in
length grades Ex/Ex" showing light surface wear, but no
damage to cutting edge. Obverse blade is stamped with the advertising logo
"Siegen-Solingen Gusstahl-Aktien-Verein Solingen". Steel scabbard retains
approximately 95% of the original black enamel showing wear primarily to the
lower ball. Attached to the hilt
is an original miniature bayonet knot with white fabric strap with two blue
stripes and yellow slide/crown. Nice original example. |
